Our Adults Kickboxing Programme is a combined martial arts and fitness programme, catering to students from 14 years old. Lau Gar Kickboxing is more than just a martial arts class, during the classes we cover technique, functional fitness and conditioning, and flexibility making it one of the most enjoyable martial arts programmes in around.
All classes are split into three groups each with their own instructor:
White-Yellow Belt (Beginners)
Orange-Blue Belt (intermediate)
Purple and above (advanced)
Every class is broken down into four sections:
Warm up & Stretch
Technique of the week
Partner drills & Cool down
Every month we hold stripe tests where your instructors will be assessing which techniques you need to work on ensuring you improve over your training.
After you have received three stripes on your belt you will be eligible to attend our quarterly grading.
Every three months we hold grading days for those who are eligible for grading.
Each grading is marked out of 70 with 10 points allocated to each subject and 20 points allocated to fitness:
